We normally give you advanced viewing privileges on new videos, but this one was more of a call to action entry, and you have already taken the greatest action we could ask for, supporting us here. Still, it's a cute little video that you may enjoy watching, so here it is. We've got another new video coming out this week that you will be able to see before anyone else, as per usual, and we have some other fun surprises in store for you. The most we've ever made in one month was probably around 2k, but our most recent payout was around 300 bucks. However our best month of ad rev was never sustainable for Auralnauts as a full time operation, which is the dream goal.

Not all videos have ads and they get nothing unless the viewer watches either 30s of the ad, or clicks on the ad. "Roughly, a video creator will earn $2,000 for every million views. " And then YouTube takes 45 percent" So... doing the math on the view count for all their videos is: too much work. I would guess 7M views in 6 months ~ $2k / mo * 45% = $1k/mo assuming they get to monetize everything, which they don't. Patreon charges a 10% commission on a monthly income higher than that. Keep in mind this is all uninformed guessing. Tentative conclusion: patreon wins

We'd love to work with games more, and we started dabbling with it in the Kylo Let's Plays. Full blown Red vs Blue style stuff would be super fun though. Zak is a big Destiny crack-head, so maybe we can work something out for 2.

The game industry doesn't give a flip about people showing their games on youtube in their full form, so I would expect it to be a lot less stress. But you do what you gotta do. If games aren't your wheelhouse and don't further your goals, then I respect your choice to do what works best for you.

Any video you make can have random popups of Zach in it as far as I care. Not sure about the jump cuts all over my face tho...
