Have no clue about wrestling. Will never watch wrestling. LOVE when Jeff provides his semi-annual wrestling update. Thank you!

I think Jeff has the more rational soap opinion. As does Joy!

„Too soon, Jeff“ is the new „Pretty rough, Jeff“

Roman Schweikert

Shoulda gone to Mazatlan.

David Esposito

As someone who also just tunes into big stuff like Wrestlemania these days this years show was fantastic! Always great to hear Jeff’s take on it.

I’m always a little curious as to why Jeff calls himself a “closet” wrestling fan, since pro wrestling has become more mainstream in the last few years and the fandom is becoming more inclusive

One thing about Wrestlemania that I found particularly refreshing this year: For over a decade, we as a culture have been exposed to The Rock only as a "Hero", a "Good Guy", someone who had become notorious for wanting to land more punches on others than get hit himself. He always had to "Win". It was great to see him return to Wrestling not just as his current persona, but as his classic "Heel" and really be villainous. And he let himself lose!!

Dave, there's going to be a total eclipse over Greenland and Iceland in two years! There are ship excursions you can book, I'm considering it.

Funny conversation about soap. IMO, the optimal soaping technique for me, a human person: shampoo the hair until maximum lather. Use excess lather, rinsing hands between zones, to clean in the direction of cleaner to dirtier zone. Typically, face, pits, front, back. Remainder of lather to be used for rest of unsoaped zones. If extra dirty repeat hair lather and apply to previous legs arms etc. Bar soap < liquid soap.

Jeff’s description of Wrestlemania gave me goosebumps and made me want to rush to go put it on. Bravo. Never watched wrestling before but might be a new fan if this much passion is in my future

Dave, do you get out of the shower then go to the sink to wash your hands to get truly clean?

Ryan Bavetta

I'm glad I didn't know what was on the line for me after I posted that comment the other week, but I'm glad it paid off, Dave. Thankfully my experience this year worked out great as well, even with the kids. We had no cloud cover where we drove 6 hours to in Missouri, I got some great pics, our youngest went down for a nap and our 4 year old watched it and enjoyed it. A+ experience.

Andrew Ols

Jeez Dave do you stick the soap fully into your butthole??? It’s clean man

Omar Jacobs

I have to thank you guys and the emailers that talked about the eclipse. I went based on the recommendation and enjoyed cloudless totality in Bloomington, IN with my family.

Omar Jacobs

Hit the 33 minute mark, and no matter what follows, I refuse to believe the eclipse was a religious experience given the long discussion of soap practices.

Andrew Fast

I find few things more joyful than walking the dogs while listening to Dave read the comment I posted on his Patreon just hours prior. My day has been made!

Why does this sound like The Iron Claw

I always love the wrestling talk! Jeff, you did a fantastic job explaining things. But I think to answer Devendra’s question a bit more succinctly, “finishing the story” is essentially about this: Cody Rhodes’s father, Dusty Rhodes, was one of the most famous wrestlers of all time. But, he had never been champion. And no other Rhodes had ever won the big championship. So after Dusty died, his youngest son Cody swore to one day be the champion. So “finishing the story” is about a Rhodes finally becoming WWE champion, and Cody winning the championship belt that his father never did.

Adam

Apologies for the Mazatlan slander. I would have theoretically gone there but last minute foreign trip was so impractical
