Back from France
Added 2018-07-11 10:00:00 +0000 UTCIt seems like tradition this time of year that I return from some sort of trip and apologize for not having updated my Patreon for so long. Rather than sounding like a broken record though I'm just going to skip straight to the content and catch you up. This time around, since there's so much I could talk about I'm going to split my update into different weekly posts scheduled throughout the near future. This seems like it might work better for my kind of content as well since Patreon will only let me show one video in every post.
I'm going to start from where we left off: with my bachelor project, formerly titled Better and Worse - now Ur Aska. The project finished up while I was off learning about script writing and concept development at La Poudrière and to be honest, after learning what I've learned and gotten some distance from it... my feelings are quite mixed. Nonetheless I was mainly just an animator on the project, so my attachment is limited. In the end everybody involved worked very hard on the project and it shows - so I look forward to officially presenting it to you all around January-February 2019. This is how Animation Workshop Bachelor projects work; they are finished around June and then put aside until next year where they are finally released. I think this is for the sake of entering them into the festival circuits. Anyhow, what I can show you are some of the shots that I have worked on. I didn't do the clean-up for any of these shots, since I wasn't there during that production stage, but I want to show some of the shots with backgrounds, compositing and all so it is some of those more final animation bits that I've put in the video.
