Figure Drawing Sketch

You've see my art looks rather stilted and it's because I don't do enough reference / life drawing to develop a natural flow with anatomy from original poses. Which is fine- I can always reference models. But spending time studying the flow of those poses and why they look that way, rather than just going, "This line goes here.... Because reference said so!", will help me create more lifelike and interesting art. I have a few projects going on for which I want to develop this. Also... I'm an artist. I should always take time every day to sketch and work on my most basic skills. It's what I hope will lead this to being a full time gig for me.
