Added 2021-05-28 04:21:42 +0000 UTCSo it took me a while to get the paths and endings down. Writing a VN is not like writing a comic. Damn. Luckily our friend Riafeir has been helping in a production and story design role. REALLY been a big help to me so if you see her say thanks for me.
The biggest hurdles were keeping it simple- and remembering that I can use the interactive medium to reward people with more or less of the personality of the characters depending on their choices. So I've set up enough deep dives and "tender moments" that it's worth more than one play through to get all the text. I hope so at least!
Anyway next step is to edit this down and tighten up the questions and answers so I can decide how the question / response scores will decide pathing. Once I have a readable draft that allows for decent path scoring I'm going to finish up the temp assets (80% done) and load them all into Renpy to do my first build of the game. Depending on how much time I have that might be in the next couple weeks. I'll post screenshots once we get this thing off the operating table, okay? And I'll keep posting art and sketches.
