This one is a joint effort with Erin. She wrote an outline for a very short story with enough detail for me to tell her that she had just written it! I took her words and added just a few hundred more, then she edited and added hers. The difference is that she called hers “The Pond” and, thinking that was a little too muddy (as the real Lake of Idols is, BTW) I prefer “The Waters”.
