I started with one from the Civil War and then there were 5 stories from WW2, one from Vietnam posted last week, some from the Afghanistan conflict (which has gone backwards again) and even some futuristic battles, but this one in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Excellent story. One of your best efforts. The tension of their dilemma was palpable, the characters believable, the mood somber and inevitable. War is hell. But Miriam found her angel.
