L'Roy is a good ol' country boy from the Washita in Southeast Oklahoma. They have an accent there that is like to West Texas. Think Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies. :)

2021-08-22 23:59:46 +0000 UTCI can see where the accent might add to the inherent humor in the story but I don't think it's crucial. You and Erin have invented or at least established a pro forma for a TG buddy-buddy rom-com. You two are like the Lennon & McCartney of this genre (or Jagger-Richards if you like to rock harder). It's cinematic like so much of your best work.
