Mothership
Added 2021-09-05 21:08:24 +0000 UTCI needed another story for my SciFi book that I am working on, and Erin is always suggesting that I need aliens in my life. This is that story. Of course Erin suggested that this could be a novel, and that may yet happen - or at least a novella. I have plotted out some back story, and how these two investigators developed their friendship across species before the events disclosed here, plus a few chapters to close all about mothership.

This is one of my favorite stories of yours. I see you’re a sure hand at science fiction too, despite your protestations. Erin is right. This is novel worthy. You may have come up with a little franchise with these two characters. Brava!
