🍂 November Wugdate!! 🍂

What's up, Wugs?!?!! Can you believe it's already November??? 😱 Wowie zowie, October was absolutely packed with activities and recordings for us Gals and our Goblin! I don't even know where to start honestly. . .

First up, we celebrated Campbell's birthday 🎉 by camping at the Texas Renaissance Festival at the beginning of the month! On the first full day, Paisley (recent guest on the pod!!) and I snuck away towards the end of the day to surprise Campbell with a fully decorated campsite when she returned. I also set up a casino night where everyone received gold dubloons, grapes, and blueberries to place their bets with and let's just the house DOES NOT always win when I'm dealing! Next up, the Gals volunteered twice this month at The Nest Empowerment Center, which is an after school program for high school students who are homeless, at-risk or unaccompanied. On our first visit, we helped them build their very own D&D characters and taught them how to fill out a simplified character sheet. Then, on the second visit, we split them up into groups and started playing a session with them! I wrote a simple encounter where they were an adventuring party trying to pick up enough odd jobs to earn money to attend the All Hallow's Eve Ball. They accepted a job without knowing any of the details first because it paid them a huge amount of gold, only to find out that they would be hunting down the Headless Horseman. We are volunteering again next week to finish out the session with them, so I'll let you know if they end up defeating him!

Some of my personal highlights so far are as follows: a kid in my group is just playing Sonic The Hedgehog, I got grilled for 5 minutes about every detail I could come up with about the Headless Horseman, and a kid in Campbell's group is playing a literal tomato bee.

The fan mail we've received recently has been so beautiful and silly! It always brightens our day when we get to open letters and packages from y'all. This is the perfect time to mention that Bandrew, who you might know from the Discord or his amazing dice roll tracking spreadsheet skills, hosted a fantasy Arcanoball league ⚾️🔥 with a baseball simulator at the end of last year into this one. Anyone who wanted to participate got to pick their team and received detailed updates after every game! Fate would have it that the championship game was played by Campbell's team and my team, but ultimately my team prevailed as the WINNER. Let's go Direwolves!!!

To celebrate the end of the season, Bandrew enlisted the help of a fellow wug, Ember, to create beautiful pennants for every player backed team. AND THEN, you would not believe the way my jaw dropped when I thought I was just going to pick up pennants from our P.O. Box to find this crazy crystal trophy for backing the champions of the season! Thank you so much to Bandrew, Ember, and every other Wug out there who is pouring so much love and fun into our little G&G community!! 💕

We also received amazing earrings made by Crow, beautiful character illustrations with a handwritten letter and 5 star rating, and the best one sentence card I have ever received in my life. Everything that is sent to us ends up on our studio wall, trinket shelf, or in our cherished letter box for us to look at anytime we need a reminder of how amazing all of our Wugs are!

Here are the secrets I can divulge for this month. . . but plz don't tell the others, okay?

We are well underway with recordings for our secret mini campaign we are releasing in February 2026 with a special guest Goblin Master! 🗡🌌 It's dark! It's gritty! It's full of trickery and crimes! It's sexy! It has big women! Someone might have 3 husbands! I literally cannot wait for everyone to listen, but I am told I can't leak any recordings early. . . unless I'm sneaky enough. . . This month's Goblin Mode is GMed and WRITTEN by our very own Lilly Percifield. She took her love for Superman and packed it into a two-pager all about balancing being a mild-mannered report and a superhero just trying to save the world! So stay tuned for that coming out in the middle of November!

For the holiday season, we are thinking about hosting a Q&A livestream where we answer y'alls questions live while we play a silly game like jenga or do Jared's makeup to turn him into a blue dragon. Let me know if this is something you would tune into and what activity we should do during it!! Or if there's something else your heart desires for us to create by the end of the year, you can tell me that too and I will take it back to the council for review!
