Old Art //
Added 2020-07-21 05:02:25 +0000 UTCI found a treasure trove of old work while cleaning my house this weekend and, well, I thought it'd be fun to share with you all the remnants of my middle school art ('04 - '06) and my junior year of high school in '09. My weapon of choice was most typically some sort of computer paper and a BIC .7 mechanical pencil when I wasn't using watercolour and ink in High School.
Sailor Moon, of course, was a huge inspiration for middle school:

There are more but these were probably my most favourite of everything I found in that particular binder. I'll definitely share more in the future if y'all want! It is just so funny to look back and see all these drawings and look to now when I make work like this:
I guess what I want to say is art is truly a journey. What your style means now won't mean that later, and that's nothing to fear but something to happily welcome. ♡
