Apple store bullshit

It is incomprehensible to me that a company is able to have enough cash to fill up a Ducktales style Money Bin so full that Scrooge McDuck would say "Oi lads. Bit excessive, innit?" if he saw it, and then still demand more.
I refuse to let corporate greed screw my patrons so I've opted to eat the extra cost for people who use the apple store. If you are currently using the apple store Patreon app to support any creators, I strongly recommend that you stop using it and opt to subscribe through a web browser or the android app. Doing so will help ensure that most of your money is going to the artist that you're actually trying to support, and will also help save yourself money if an artist decides to go the route of having the patron make up the cost, (as they'd be well within their rights to do so.)
Seriously, this is so unbelievably anti consumer that my mind has trouble parsing it. This change negatively effects creators, subscribers, Patreon itself... basically anyone who isn't Apple.
If you subscribe via a browser or android app then you don't have to do anything, nothing's changing there to my knowledge. If you are subscribed via the apple app then it is truly in everyone's best interests to reup via another method before November.
