About Paywalls
Added 2022-07-31 16:03:01 +0000 UTCI saw yesterday that EA officially disallowed paywalls for mods. Honestly, I think it's a great thing overall!
But here's what it means for my Patrons and others:
- I'll still release monthly Patron gifts that will release publicly after a month. I considered making them public from the start, but I think that having the Patron-only reminds people that they can donate to me if they choose.
- I don't consider this a paywall because you do not get charged when you become a Patron, but rather at the start of the next month. You're able to join, download, and cancel in quick succession without charge if you really want my recolors for free before public release. I mean, it's a donation, not a purchase, only pay if you want to.
- If that becomes an issue I'll start making them public but for now nothing is changing.
