Fearless is such a good album. However, I cannot wait for you to react to Speak Now, for me is the best album of her career!

2022-09-12 21:36:32 +0000 UTCTo be honest…I’m not sure I know much either. I DEFINITELY don’t know how to explain it. But I do know for a fact that Taylor Swift is amazing.

2022-09-12 21:35:11 +0000 UTCThank you so much for explaining all of that lol I don't know anything about music theory, but I do know that that sound is amazing 😂😂😂

2022-09-11 22:00:49 +0000 UTCI have an idea when ever you do a Taylor song and it’s have the Taylor’s version one you do the two first the original then her version to see her improv and what she chant and what she kept … 🤍🤍love your reactions btw

2022-09-11 08:34:41 +0000 UTCThe term you are looking for is very specific, but this is also an example a modulation! The specific word is a secondary dominance. It's when the key temporarily borrows from another key. Modulations are what happens when a key changes from one to another: it's the way that the key gets to the new one. They can stay in the new key, or come back. I THINK this is a secondary dominant, which means that the chord changes to what would be a dominant chord or leading tone in another key. In not-technical terms: her chord borrowed a chord that is important in another key. This creates a quick "key change" while not being a key change at all. I'm so sorry I can't explain that better. Edit: This one is specifically (I THINK) a relation to the minor key. So this song is in G Major and it's "relative minor" (the minor key that has the same altered notes) is E minor. This chord is the dominant (big chord) of the minor key. So this chord is switching from the major key to a bright chord in the minor. I am so sorry. This is probably more information than anyone gives a shit about 😂

2022-09-10 23:49:34 +0000 UTCFearless is an amazing and very cohesive album (one of her most cohesive). I also really like that you are doing the original version first, personally I would only do the Vault songs of the TV version. Also while some songs sound better in the TV version, some songs like Forever & Always for example sound better in the original because of the emotion in her voice. A tip when listening to this album, the themes of "driving" and "the rain" (as both something positive and negative) are present in almost every single song.

2022-09-10 23:29:56 +0000 UTCSo excited that you’re keeping the Taylor content coming! I think you should definitely do the music videos (or at least one- You Belong With Me because it’s iconic and it was referenced in the LWYMMD music video) and the rest be Taylor’s Version because her vocals are incredible and really add to the songs imo.
2022-09-10 23:06:47 +0000 UTCI love Fearless! But didn't you say that you were gonna do her first albums in order? Also I understand reacting to her older version for the music videos but i do wanna say that there's more that changes in these versions than her voice, and imo some of the 2021 TV versions are much better :)

2022-09-10 21:51:51 +0000 UTCI don't know if you remember Abigail, she was in Miss Americana. She's Taylor's childhood best friend and still to this day, she wrote this song for her.

2022-09-10 21:41:44 +0000 UTCFearless was released in 2008 when Taylor was 18. two years after her debut album. so she wrote this song between the ages of 16-17. she also wrote this song alone. without co-writers.
