Breathe by Taylor Swift (off Fearless)

The whole Fearless album is about coming of age, getting past your first serious relationship, learning that the fairytales that we dreamed about when we were younger aren't true, losing friends (that's what Breathe is about) and about being "Fearless" (about putting yourself outhere even if you are scared or the regret that happens when you don't). Taylor uses a lot of driving, rain and faerytale themes through the album and the track order is quite important. Listening to Love Story + Hey Stephen and then listening to White Horse or listening to The Best Day after Forever & Always, finishing the regular album with Change. I love this album, I think it's one of her best, up there with 1989, Lover and Folklore. PS: Funnily enough Breathe is my less favorite track on the album and my most skipped.

Fearless is one of Taylor most cohesive albums and the track order for the original (not the Platinum or TV version) is super important. Sadly I don't think Suffi will really get why Fearless was so big or won such important awards without listening to this album in order.

I just want a full album reaction. A lot of the songs off Fearless (and really all of Taylor’s albums) are so much better when they’re heard in quick succession, and you don’t get that same feel when they’re all split up in separate videos

Taylor only let's the female singers do backup vocals while the male singers get their own chorus and sing first on the song.
