Perils at the coumpound

A sequel to the previous commission:
Tried as they might, Soulburner (Yugioh Vrains) and Salamandra (OC) could not escape from the creature chasing them at the coumpound. They both tried to fight it, but they were easily overpowered! Soulburner is knocked against a wall that revealed a cave behind the coumpound, and Salamandra is easily captured. He snaps himself out of it, and tries to help her, only to accidentally crashes into a wall, face first due to them both mysteriously dissapearing in the air.
He panics in confusion as to what happened, but before he could do anything, his lack of breath fully caught up with him, since he had been running on pure adrenaline this entire time. He releases the last of his breath in a painful cough, the pain from the impact and the strain ripping through his body. As he sinks into the dark cave, he feel his wrist being grabbed by someone, but he blacked out before seeing who it was.
