Yesterday was such a weird day, and not in a pleasant way! So many (not) delightful surprises, among them being our garage (and partner's workshop) flooded by a big downpour here in Britain (France).

Thankfully it wasn't too massive that it's not manageable, but there were some damage to quite a few of my partner's art (yep, we're a couple of artists!) and that's just one of the joys we've had to deal with yesterday.

So next Little Tiny Things page will be for next week! I'll be mopping away now :D (we have friends staying over this weekend, would like for things to be a little less wet)!

Thanks for your very much appreciated support (especially in times like these!) 💙💙💙

I agree with Opus. 300mm is a good height, *IF you know beforehand that it might flood!* That's the tricky part: "Gee, it's never done this before!" And your friends will appreciate your love of nature: "Oh Chloe, you're raising Fish in your garage now, safe from predators? How thoughtful!"

Hope the losses were minimal.

Tenebrous Trahern

Oof, sorry to hear that!

Yes, that's what we'll be sure to do from now on..!

Sorry about the flood, I try to make it a habit to get my valuables off the floor to at least a foot (300mm) high.

Opus the Poet

What a drag. I'm really sorry to hear about your partner's works - hopefully they weren't COMPLETELY ruined. I hope everything goes well with the visit, too. When people say to 'stay hydrated', they don't mean this!

Good luck. <3 We had flood a few months back and we're still trying to repair the basement.

Hang in there. No worries it’s worth the wait.

She is a wonderful artist. I love her recent pieces with orcas and yachts, and that submarine was *chef's kiss*. I just wish she would focus her more avant-garde work where it could help us help her. Though, I guess from her point of view that's what she's already doing.

Mother nature is an artist herself, a very chaotic one! And humans are driving her more and more chaotic, as we destroy more and more of her (of ourselves).

Hopefully it's just a passing thing,

Spencer Davis

Mother nature is a terrible critic. If she doesn't like the art she should write about it in the opinion pages of the local rag, not try and ruin it for everyone else.
