The Sounds of Space: Teaser Trailer
Added 2021-06-09 18:04:03 +0000 UTCHappy Wednesday everybody -- I'm very excited to present the teaser trailer for The Sounds of Space. I am putting the finishing touches on the full video now and can't wait to share the full thing next week (patrons see it first on 6/15).
This short film was made in collaboration with the podcast Twenty Thousand Hertz -- they tell fascinating stories about the world of sound, and their space episode inspired me to work together with them to bring it to life.
I won't give it all away, but we're traveling beyond the familiar soundscape of Earth to other planets, and back in time, to see what sounds are possible in different environments across space and time.
I know many of you are eager for Life Beyond III -- I am making good strides there as well and will share more updates in the coming weeks. But please have patience as it is a massive undertaking.

It's just about the choice between nice work but with limited scientific relevance, or removing that limit to perhaps give it more value to the advancement of mankind's understanding of the universe. It IS a valid option, so choice! That's no 'putting it down' as it is, but identifying that it could also be more. I'd hope that may inspire! Your aggressive reaction is inappropriate.
2021-06-11 08:10:21 +0000 UTCnice comment. but what's the point? there's important work to be done in not being an entitled jerk. a lifetime ago, you said you were too rude and ignorant to stop being a selfish ass who puts down creators works when they aren't exactly to their liking. a paper was just accepted by the top international publisher saying that a creator's pursuits are worth something even if they do not cater to the tastes of peter jackson, but it needs peter jackson to accept that he's being a dick. are you still too pig-headed for any such worthwhile work?

A year ago you said you were busy for a year so couldn't help. A paper has just been accepted by the top international publisher which should help advance that understanding. But it needs a good quality video of astrophysical systems to help explain and disseminate it. Are you still to busy for any such worthwhile work?

2021-06-09 18:53:14 +0000 UTCI'm still watching I and II on repeat and with a new audience member each time...it was my suggested watch (Life II) after my friends and I binged watched two of Joe Rogan's alien-themed podcasts. During the podcasts I just kept repeating points that Life II highlighted and it wasn't until after my friends watched the video that they were able to also speak to those levels of theoretical ideas. Melodysheep feeds me the fuel of creativity and wonder we all need in our lives on a daily basis!
