Upload Notes: Weathered Affection Part I

An original story debuts, focusing on a spoiled woman and the scientist that crushed on her during high school~ This pledge reward has been exciting to work on! The full story is nearly complete, but I figured breaking it up into two pieces would make it flow just a little better. That, and I get to show you what I've been working on sooner rather than later~ The first half to Weathered here is a fair bit different in tone than the conclusion!

I've actually had this story called "Scientist Kaiju" in my documents for awhile now because that's basically where it began. The patron wanted some focus at least early on to be about second-hand perspectives as Cassidy roams the city. I really loved this concept~ I could probably make a whole slew of scenes that are just from random camera views of a giant doing their thing. So many different emotions and little interactions to dwell on, it's a really clever idea for building suspense and keeping the size aspect a surreal feature~ Seriously, I want to revisit this concept some time! Gives me vibes of Cloverfield or something~

I also like the dynamic between our two ladies. Cassidy is a sweetheart, I came around to really liking her since she's up my alley in a few ways~ Nerdy woman that uses size technology to pursue a woman she's still obsessed with some fifteen years after being rejected... and that woman is sort of a douche? Love to see it. We see more of both her and Lorita in the next part when we flashback to their high school year together, which should really vitalize the attachment to the characters and put more of the story into context. Look forward to that! Like I said, the second part is almost done, so it shouldn't be that long of a wait~
