Upload Notes: Treasured - Chapter Two

Treasured has been updated~! It took a couple months, but the second chapter is complete. Yvedawn ravages a village in her own Yvedawn sort of way, and we're introduced to the Tides of Blakewood. Getting to bounce around from a few different and distinct characters is a lot of fun, and I'm excited for even more of this guild to be revealed! There's a lot of fun chemistry to explore between some of the members, they're going to turn this adventure into a fun romp.

This really, really itches my D&D bones though~ I haven't had the chance to play a tabletop game in years, but this really feels like the same thing in a lot of ways! I love crafting adventures and big worlds, I'm grateful to have a chance to do that with such an adaptable setting. Even though we'll likely never see any traditional adventures from these folks, I hope I've characterized them enough that you can imagine their exploits~ It's only been one chapter but I've fallen with this cast already, haha~ or maybe I'm just that nostalgic for D&D.

I've also come to think that, perhaps, my specialty lies in these bigger, longer stories, haha. Running a patreon has really widened my scope to see where strengths and weaknesses are. Writing shorts and quick thing is very fun, but my style naturally lends itself to extensive, drawn out stories. It's why I think Endless was such a hit with people versus my original shorts, Endless had a captivating story that rewarded investment, whereas many of my shorts almost feel like... incomplete novels, since they go on for so long and then just end, haha~ It's something to improve upon, for sure! I strive for that, but I also accept that maybe I should turn towards these longer projects since I've got a knack for them.
