2020 Patreon Update~

Greetings everyone~ You’ve certainly noticed that it’s a new year. 2020. A big year! And hopefully, a big year for Curse Crazy’s size erotica patreon! The patreon is half-a-year old and it’s already grown much faster than I expected. With 17 patrons and making just under $100 a month, I’m very grateful for the support you have all given me~ It’s about time for an update! I have big plans for the future of the patreon, so please continue reading to get a glimpse of what’s ahead -- a divination, if you will…

The first and only milestone goal I set for the patreon was $150/month. I had promised that when this goal was reached, I would create and host a Discord server, as well as open two more commission slots in the Spellbound tier. That goal is drawing near~ and I still plan on hosting that Discord server! Doing so would strengthen and help grow my community. I hope you all are excited for this goal to be met as well! A Curse Crazy Discord would be a server not only for patrons, but for any of my readers wanting to meet with other size enthusiasts. Patrons will of course receive special perks for their support. I envision a server that’s friendly, inclusive, and mature, where I can keep my readers up to date while also sharing and discussing various topics~ Of course, your input would also be prioritized in terms of deciding how the Discord should be run! I really am looking forward to this development.

Some unfortunate news, however, must also be said here. That milestone goal also promised the addition of two Spellbound tier slots. When I began the patreon, I initially expected that commissions would generate substantial content flow, but I underestimated how commissions would not be so simple, haha~ Some commissions are private, and others are particularly niche that few other patrons are mainly here to see. By no means do I dislike any of my current commission projects, I genuinely love everything I’m working on! But it’s the reality of commissions, and I think it’s important that I focus more energy towards original works, rather than just commissions. That being said, for the foreseeable future, there will not be any commission slots added.

On the bright side, I fully intend on creating a more formal process for taking commissions off patreon! Even from my Cursed tier patrons and up, I’m asked a lot about taking requests or doing additional work on a project. I want to keep the door open for these types of requests, so I’ll be managing a queue that can help organize these off-patreon commissions! If you’ve wanted to commission me but haven’t because of a lack of slots, then stay tuned~ I look forward to having more information available, as well as having this line of work up and running!

The next subject is about polls, a feature that the Hexed tier patrons and up get access to. I have plans to revitalize this feature into something more engaging and more consistent of a perk. That plan is to run an ongoing story with weekly updates, where polls will decide the direction of the story~ Think of it as a choose-your-own-adventure game, but with democracy! This style of writing is something I’ve really wanted to dip my feet into, I really enjoy that kind of interaction with the audience, and I think this will be a fun feature for eligible patrons to enjoy! Ideally, it should make you feel like part of the art~

The specifics of such a story are still under works, and I wanted to take your input on this! Regardless of your pledge, feel free to comment below with any thoughts you might have~ Currently, my thought is to have a fantasy-themed story where the protagonist is thrust into a size situation.  A fantasy setting keeps things flexible for the interactive nature, and very likely, the protagonist would be encouraged to want to balance the thrill of having their powers with other responsibilities. The polls will decide a variety of turning points, sometimes controlling the protagonist’s actions, and other times deciding outright what elements to include. Ideally, the story will feel alive with your input, and every week should promise a fun new selection to read! Regardless of one’s pledge, these selections will be published for everyone to see.

Then to wrap things up, here’s just a quick outlook on some of my ongoing projects. I know some of you have a story or two that you’re looking to get an update on, so hopefully this might give you an idea of what’s happening behind the scenes~

Endless: Never-Endings. This was the first project I promised to work on when announcing the patreon~ but unfortunately, it hasn’t gotten very far. I still have my drafts set aside for the endings I want to explore, but frankly, I haven’t observed enough interest from my readers to warrant prioritizing it. It’s currently on hold~ but if you want to see it continue, either a plotline I’ve already begun or a different branch entirely, then let me know!

Discovery. As you might expect, I still intend on continuing this story~ It’s definitely the most popular project I’m working on. If anyone recalls, my girlfriend actually requested this story herself. It’s been mostly her ideas, so to help me out, she’s decided to write the outlines for me going forward~ I look forward to having the next installment ready! It’s a fun story and quite a popular one, too!

As well as that, my girlfriend will also be assisting me in writing a new, lengthy story! It’s a post-apocalyptic themed story that will tread pretty lightly through the usual grim themes of post-apocalypse stories, focusing more on the relationships rather than the survival grit. The story follows a scientist-turned-survivor that uncovers a giant woman in cryostasis, a remnant from a project meant to advance humans in preparation for the catastrophes that were ahead. It should be an exciting story and I can’t wait to have a first chapter ready to show you guys~ I’m really most jazzed about having my girlfriend working on a story! She’s a talented writer like myself and I’m sure you all will appreciate what she brings! We’re quite like-minded, haha.
