(content warning) Frames

I have a small animation practically finished, but I've been holding off on publishing it so that new patrons have a chance to end up in the credits for this month. It's not super 'active' as some of the others are, but more-so intended to be a glance into our Beloved Protagonist's frame of mind. (This is not apart of the WIP posted prior).

OBLIGATORY RAMBLES:

Some of my art contains darker (or gross!) themes! Like, probably a little jarring. I don't want it be a focal point entirely but it is apart of the characters and gives them rather real or 'human' attributes. Jon is a tortured guy carrying a quite a bit of angst, though his feelings and plights are real and may be relative, he is also poor at identifying them and can be quite the sack of shit. Most of the characters are morally gray. It is also apart of my humor (respectively).

OTHER THINGS:

I'm edging closer and closer to working on my comic. The subplot (Mur) may be something I begin with just as I get my feet a little more wet, it's a little intimidating putting all of the main events together and filling holes. I intend to host the pages on my website. Some of you may remember me fucking around with different mediums, I think I finally decided I'll just be drawing the pages on paper. B&W versions may be publicly available, and colored versions may be exclusive to Patreon until further notice.

I feel like I have to be productive all the time, right? But lately I've been trying to rekindle some inspiration and motivation by watching or reading other stuff to get a feel of how I want to compose myself. Not to sound hesitant or unconfident- the story is there, I just want it to be something good and something to be proud of.

LASTLY:

More so on the experimental side of things, because God knows I don't have my hands in enough projects already, I've been playing with old TV's as a display for my animations to give it that "gritty" or retro feel a bit. So far I've been very unsuccessful. But it'll be exciting as soon as I can make it work. I soldered together a cheap little video mixer to play with, no idea if it works yet but I'm eager to try it. Pray I don't electrocute myself nor fry anything in the meantime.
