Pollstar Entry: AEW [San Jose, CA]

As a quick reminder, the figures provided below represent paid attendance. I've included my recorded attendance alongside their entry (if I have one). The variance between the two figures (paid vs. mine) reflects an estimated comp figure. It's noteworthy that it's quite rare for my recorded figures to fall below the paid numbers reported by Pollstar but it happens from time to time. Also, it's worth noting that the capacity figure below does not necessarily represent the actual capacity of the building, but rather what has been opened in most cases.

Tickets sold: 3,033
Capacity: 7,500
Occupancy: 40%

My number: 3,464 (~12.5% in comps)

Comments

If the first responder ticket is purchased (like they're offering with a code and discount for an upcoming show), that is a ticket sold. Comps are free tickets (VetTix are an example).

Hi tix, I had a question Do they consider first responders ticket sales also as comps? Or it is entirely outside the ticketmaster? Like vetix, and other mediums?

Your number was probably very accurate on this. That's a good house, but that building is HUGE. Next time, go somewhere smaller, which they will.
