TNA Genesis Notes/Estimate

TNA Genesis
Sunday, Jan 19, 2025
Curtis Culwell Center, Garland, TX

Tickets Distributed: 4,032

Sections 103 through 112 were fully opened and mostly distributed. I was able to reference historical counts for this venue for those sections and include the 400 floor seats sold. Similar to the last time AEW ran Collision and an ROH show here, they utilized a certain percentage of the building. One reader noted that the General Admission seats were treated as first come, first serve.

Reader Notes:

"People are still coming in. I just went to grab a beer. Basically all available seating is sold out—sections 103 to part of 113, plus the 400 floor seats. Hope that helps you out."

"It’s filled from sections 103 to 112."

That's what I have been telling, for events like collision and ROH Open the entire stadium for 10 dollar attendance, you'll anyway have merchandise and tv money to cover up. Look for some small 2k seating theatres, and run roh there this way

There were a lot of people on Sunday on the comments saying there was no way it was this many people and it was under 3,000. Well here's your proof. It wasn't 2,700-3,000 that a few people wanted it to be

ItsNotThatSerious

Yep, $25

I wonder if the General Admission Model would be successful for AEW/ROH. Maybe not for the gate $ but the total attendance. You could then basically choose where you want people to sit the day of the show.

Bilal

Any idea what the price of general admission tickets were?

@ProWresComm

We'll all have different numbers but it's good to know we're near the same ballpark!

2 Cold Scorpio

Strong number

Really good number for them. Glad to see more than 1 or 2 promotions drawing. The business of Professional Wrestling is booming.

Lagreca on Busted Open was saying 4500 today, he tends to get #s wrong. I trust you over him
