If you’re worried about trolls posting unflattering pics on X, I guess be concerned. If you’re only concerned about how it’ll look on TV, it’ll be fine. Baseball stadiums are built like an amphitheater.

Theirs not an arena in the country that could break their US attendance record. They’re very likely to break that here and have already probably set their all domestic gate-in a very saturated market. Why is everyone acting insane today ?

Everyone is new to the idea AEW fans don’t buy tickets right away. I’m going but haven’t bought a ticket , because I feel zero urgency to do so with 180 days left like you said . Bunch of doom and gloomers here. Kenny vs Okada going official will get butts in seats , I guarantee it.

Raja

People drawing conclusions 180 days away don't understand how ticket sales work and it shows.

You gotta be careful saying things like this that make sense. You'll hurt a lot of people feelings with common sense statements like this

This whole idea is disastrous. US attendance has been in the toilet for a long time now. They’ve had less than 5k total to attend the shows this week. Next week looks like it could be less than 4k. They have only just started running smaller arenas to try and improve the atmosphere and TV product. It looks promising, too. The TV product in the first couple of weeks of 2025 has been much better since the crowd isn’t just stacked up on one side. And then they go and decide to do this. 20k would not be a success. Anything less than 30k makes them look like a joke. It’s a 40k seat arena. Having 20k will be insane. There is no reason that they should be able to fill this. At AEW’s peak, they couldn’t have. And that peak was a loooooonnnnnggg time ago now.

You say that as if AEW didn't just cancel a stadium show in Australia because the powers that be overestimated the company's ability to draw fans.

Everyone keeps saying 20,000 will be good. Aew would have never done this show if they thought they would draw 20,000 in a 43,000 seat stadium. They didn't think this would be half empty. I didn't either

The decision to book a big NBA arena and pack it to the rafters with a minimalist stage is looking better and better by the day. At 180 a week that's 4500 tix over 6 months. Give them 5k in the final 2 weeks since AEW moves most of their tickets the first 2 weeks and last 2 weeks. That's 21k. That is not going to look good in a baseball stadium this huge, and it is going to sound even worse because of all the open space. 16-19k in a NBA arena would be packed every corner the camera could see, and it would sound amazing. Their Revolution show in NC that was completely packed at 16k looked and sounded amazing. The gate would also be bigger as they could charge higher prices because of a lower quantity of tickets available.

I think this is doing fine for this far out. I think this will only get interesting once they get to the final 2 weeks or so. Until then it should be consistent and reach around 16k before the major push which I think gets them to around 23k. Don't be shocked if it sells 20% of its final count in the final week alone.

This is still 6 months away. They should get to 20-25k by the time of the show.

It would be great if Starrcast could go on sale bc that will help some

They need to be around 12-13 around Revolution. Im thinking comps will be at least 1k. They will get a late push the last month as they always do. I would assume Rangers will advertise it a lot at their home games so should get a boost starting in April
