the 3 dollars that best spend.
Added 2022-04-15 19:28:45 +0000 UTC-Hello Daddy! How is everything at home? Have you finished your math homework yet? Well whatever, I was just calling to tell you that I'll be home late tonight and won't be able to have dinner with you and Mommy so don't worry, what's the reason? Well you know Mr. Johnson had a problem at the office and I have to stay to solve it, don't worry it's nothing I can't solve, anyway I have to go now I love you and remember to eat all the vegetables, the doctor said that you were somewhat obese when we went to vaccinate you-
I have to admit it was the best birthday wish I could have asked for, life as an adult is great! especially when it comes to my father's life. It was almost a year since I and my father exchanged our lives for the wish I made to a mechanical fortune teller in a mall on my birthday.
-I wish that when I grow up I will be like my father!- The fortune-teller could not interpret my wish in a more twisted way when he expelled a strange card from the machine "wish fulfilled but someone must take your place" I took the paper card in my hands and I could feel something strange like a tingling in my hands.

-Wow, this thing broke- my father said reading the card and taking it between his fingers and by the smiling expression on his face he could also feel that the strange card was a bit strange, after that he crumpled the card and threw it into the pot garbage next to the machine. -What do you think if I better buy you an ice cream?-
Those were the best $3 best spent birthdays ever. The day after my party I woke up feeling strange and I was no longer in my children's room but in my parents' room but that was not the only thing different, I was much taller, stronger and bigger! I went straight to my parent's bathroom walking on my long, clumsy, hairy legs, and the first thing I did when I saw my reflection was scream.
Luckily my mom was too busy making breakfast and listening to my new deeper tone of voice or everything would have gotten more complicated. somehow magically I had grown old and taken my father's place in life and since there was a position as my son available my father ended up rejuvenating into my pudgy 10-year-old son.
It was not easy for my father to adapt to this new life especially when my mom, I mean my now wife Martha forced him to get on the school bus completely ignoring his story that -in truth, I am your husband and I and our son exchanged lives-. I have to admit I ignored his high-pitched, squeaky voice too, but he was so excited about this whole adult thing that I didn't tell the truth either. -You know how it is in the morning honey, I'm a sorry champion but you have to go to school-.
I was so convinced that my “wife” didn't suspect me at all, being an adult is easy! The best of the wish was when these little memories of my father's life began to arrive but they were no longer my father's now they were my memories of MY life. I began to remember how to dress properly for work in the elegantly tailored suit my mother had given my father for his anniversary.
Days passed and I became more and more my father and he forgot more and more things about his adult life, until one day my father ran away from home and we received a call from a mall guard because MY son had thrown a tantrum when he found out that they had taken the mechanical genius from the mall. We had to punish him for a month without television or the tablet so that he would learn not to run away from home or disobey his new father.
