I wonder whether it is the privacy settings on your computer/device or network. Have a hunt around your cmputer/device and see if you have them set to the highest privacy/safety level. Normal settings should let it through, but if set to high security your system might be blocking it. Also, is there an option to add patron or vimeo to your 'whitelist' ? That might help. It's unlikely to be a problem with patreon if you have verified your device. Hope that helps.
