If you don’t register with the state, therefore the state can not borrow against you. Do you go outside of the state while living in that state.? Do you lose the benefits of the state by not registering to the state? Now , does the blockchain/ crypto/ IBM able to borrow /sell against your birth certificate? Do you become a citizen of xyz crypto? This is the demise of the nation state.

It may or may not be a ‘blockchain’ by definition as mentioned But what it is is just a glorified database. The thing is that they don’t yet have every earthling on this database but they will. And they will be connected to other databases (they are already) which will be be anything from who you associate with to credit score, social credit score, taxes, lots of other ID, emails phone calls etc etc. BREAKING NEWS FOLKS, they already have this system in place and working and have done for a few decades...probably by now controlled by a super AI computer system. Do many of us also have tiny nano chips already in us too? I bet if you worked in sensitive areas (military etc) there’s a good chance you do? A million people in the US claimed to have been abducted by ‘aliens’ which is why psychology prof John Mack decided to investigate the phenomenon - shocking the world of academia). His conclusion was that there was a physical phenomena taking place. Do you think this could be a secret program of ‘chipping’ us? Back to the cattle metaphors i’m Afraid....

If IBM was involved they probably used a private permissioned blockchain, Hyperledger. There's no tokens involved. A private blockchain is essentially no different than any other database, no reason to get excited. The immutable quality of a blockchain doesn't exist with a private implementation because one party controls the blockchain and can modify any records easily.
