# Fiat = "They" control the flow (central banks etc.), people partly have fungibility/privacy, because it's not directly counted where one physical note travels/exchanges.
# Digital banking = "They" own your Fiat, every bank account has to report all transactions (KYC) if authorities ask and your account can be halted (recent "money loundry" laws very troubeling).
# Bitcoin Litecoin (publick wallets) = "They" don't control the flow of coin greation, but they hell can print $€ and buy a big chunk of it. It's also a wet dream for any Gov, because they see your crypto wallet movements in real time - no hiding from extortion/taxes in any way. No fungibility, because wallets that have touched "unlawful" other wallets can be denied/blacklisted on Gov levels.
# Fungible blockchains like Monero/Grin/Beam (zkSnark, if correctly implemented which Zcash is not doing atm.) - "They" don't control the coin flow - They also cannot see your wallet without your permission. So in monetary terms this is the win for People, but People seem to be blindly running toward the likes of Bitcoin, Litecoin etc.. yeah seems very "orchestrated" actually.

I remember what Cliff told two years software eating money. Interesting actually did signup on the Autumn ID system as an experiment apparently its used in Sweden for government sites where citizens need to access.

Hello Crypto Jeff, "they" have already access to all information circulating in the internet. What you describe might become true. That will depend on legal regulations. Would you say that the Digital ID is the real key then? They can't confiscate our crypto wealth without our private keys, but they can use our Digital ID to tell all the big retailers not to sell anything to us if we are a "troublemaker". Seems like I could still buy things directly from people in the secondary market without interference. How do you see them getting really solid control of everyone, if that's possible?
