Danish minister said that people should "top up" their baskets when shopping, thus avoiding to come often to the supermarkets. Good idea. Shops full, people keep distance - and funny enough I have gained a couple of pounds since this started, as I am home and my wife is a caring soul. Be good out there. People in the supermarkets are already reacting angrily if someone accidentally infringes upon their two meter personal zone. I wish more was focused on the US dollar death. I know you guys have already viewed it, but it seems to be the key to everything. Corona is just a trigger and it is a perfect one. Gold has dropped before during such crisis. When hedge funds lose money like this they liquidate everything including gold. With regards to banks, European banks would go belly up first that would be a sign for much more trouble ahead.

Hey guys, I'm back in the club :-D I am considering the value of getting out an extra good amount of cash before the banks may close...? But I just want to hear a few informed opinions from those who have it here... I am thinking: if there is going to be food shortages for a while, prices may sky rocket. There for the best is to have a big storage of food (which we do). But already now most shops are asking that you don't pay with cash because of the virus contagion. And if we are switching to digital economy the money I take out may not be of much use all of a sudden. I know it's good to have some but I hope you get the gist of my questioning here. I was warned that bitcoin was going to $2,000 over 2 years ago, but didn’t want to believe it on the basis of the information received in this group, (how we are moving into a new financial system) and we may well still do, but has left many with huge loses. I’m lucky I’m fairly young to try and recover the loses of my pension.

What crypto do you have? Normally you download a wallet of that crypto onto your laptop first, then transfer your crypto from the exchange to that wallet. Get an exodus wallet, (exodus.io) free online and if you have time buy a hardware wallet such as trezor (trezor.io). An absolute must, as it should stop someone hacking into your wallet on your pc. Then it is a case of copying your receiving address of your wallet to the exchange and clicking send. Always put 2 factor authentication on the exodus wallet too (so it texts you a one time code to enter) for extra security.

Thanks Edd. I respectfully disagree with 8’s post. Almost everything on the internet is opinion including most ‘news’. My membership fee pays for RV and opinion from the entire team. Is is possible that you just didn't like what was said? If you’re looking for absolute certainty you won’t find it no matter how good these guys are. He’s certainly not the first to discuss BTC having some very low numbers. I appreciate the stream of consciousness as it mirrors what a lot of us are thinking as we face some difficult decisions in the coming days.

The Danish shops are full. Toiletpaper practically everywhere. There should not be food storage shortouts, except perhaps in the big cities on some goods. I think we should take it easy, behave at our best, and keep chin up. See if you can help your neighbours that are old or have disabilities. Again, be the best you can be, no matter what happens. We see the Italians, who are hard hit, keeping their spirits up. Shops are open, and even if they have to stay at home - once a day can get out to shop. I'm sure that the curve will break in a month. So if you are healthy, stay at home, if your'e sick - stay at home. As we can see, even in Italy, which is hard hit, there is no food shortage. Even if the borders are closed, all borders are letting trucks with food etc. coming through (here in Europe). The government's main priority is to have food and basic stuff readily available, to avoid panic. So this shouldn't be a problem. However, if I had a country home or vacation house, with the possibility to grow something, and know your neighbours - I would probably move there for a time.

BTC going to 2000 - even if it's just a wick down on the weekly chart, would be quite a problem for technical analysis. Wicks down or up are usually tolerated, but if we have weekly and monthly closes under major trend-lines it will be very difficult to avoid another long crypto bear market. So, I don't really see that happen. Interesting times.

Gold has dropped before during such crisis. When hedge funds lose money like this they liquidate everything including gold. With regards to banks, European banks would go belly up first that would be a sign for much more trouble ahead.
