I've understood that Italian Doctors are having to decide who lives and who dies due to the lack of ventilators. From what I have found, that claim has been verified.

I read some comments and do understand people are getting emotional and express sentiments during these trying times. But it's not fear porn. We're all people, and many in the CV family have families themselves. Many including myself know how much time and effort it took to prepare and stock up on everything. So I wonder why adult patreons start showing this kind of "Hey waiter, where's my daily free beer and choice of videos?" attitude though paying only the lowest tier. I hope those people are mindful of the fact that all of the CV team folks have daily problems to tend to like every patreon here during this time of lockdown and social distancing. I'm not Catholic, but ask one of them why absolution is necessary when people die. Since there's no local priest around these poor people when the respirator stops, the general absolution "solves the problem". May they rest in peace.

My aunt in England has been going through cancer treatments for the past year. She is only 65. Yesterday I got an email from her husband that said that their last ditch effort to get stem cells has been stopped because all hospitals are closing their cancer units and reasigning medical staff to deal with COVID-19. All isolation units are being closed and all beds are being reserved for potential COVID-19 patients. They told her that her treatment is cancelled and now should look at palliative care. This is so wrong, all peoples lives matter! She has basically been told that the lives of potential COVID-19 patients are more important than hers and other cancer patients, and now her life is being ended because of this. So it's not just Matrid, it's happening everywhere. It makes me sick.
