Secret #2: Chapter 0, the beta chapter

Dr. Slump contains an entire heap of unused lines of text. Often random lines in the middle of a script never appear in game due to objects being moved to different scenes, sometimes lines are censored for content, and often for no clear reason whatsoever. However the largest source of unused text are in the files of an unused chapter, chapter "S00" as it's referred to in the files. 

This chapter must have been created early on in development, as many characters are missing portrait icons and the script files are structured somewhat differently. Some of the events in S00 are used in later chapters of the game, however many are not. Here are some insights we can draw from the more interesting unused lines of text in S00:

*[AKANE]I don't know if a bear could even handle a play date with you. Speaking of which, there was a bear hiding out in the hills.[END]

A bear in Penguin Village? Nothing like that ever appears in the game. It must have been cut early in development. Here's another interesting exchange:

A baseball minigame? Akane's secret? Again, we never see these things in the actual game. I wonder what Akane was hiding...

And here's one last line that I thought was somewhat funny. In the final game, Akane is much more open to the idea of wrecking police cars:
