What's Next.
Added 2021-05-12 22:57:44 +0000 UTCDr. Slump is complete! I hope you've been enjoying the game. It was a blast to see people finally get a chance to play it. So what's next for me? I've been working very hard at gathering data and testing options for my next project.
Initially I wanted to do the Fist of the North Star PS1 game, and I was actually able to crack the game open and edit the script. Unfortunately the game has many lines of voiced dialog that don't have subtitles, meaning I wouldn't be able to translate it without replacing the audio. I considered replacing the audio with lines from the dubbed anime, or reaching out for voice actors, but eventually decided that the game is 100% playable without a translation patch. The story follows the canon storyline of the manga and anime and fans wouldn't actually benefit too much from a translation. The gameplay is straightforward enough that anyone can get through it.
So I'm currently tinkering around in a bunch of different PS1 games. I'm mostly looking into games with a smaller script as a bit of a change of pace for myself. I won't make an announcement until I have a working prototype, so please stay tuned until then.

I would take a look at them, sure. Can't make promises when it comes to romhacking though.
