How do you plan to run Jacelisk and her Knives?

All of my groups picked the Conclave as their patron; I plan to use Jacelisk as the hook to turn the submersible into a heist mission rather than a random encounter. It's a long way off (all groups are still in Avernus, which I've heavily expanded), but I plan to have Aeshma be a friend of hers that she wants to rescue and seeks to rope the party into it. It's inevitably complicated by the fact that, probably unbeknownst to her, Baalzebul has a personal beef with the party owing to the possession ritual in the prologue and is certainly aware of their arrival in his domain. She will 100% save her own skin and leave them to their fates when the wrinkles get bad enough.

2024-10-19 08:01:07 +0000 UTCJacelisk ended up helping the party kill Memnoriac, landing the last blow while the police guy watched and waited for the fight to be over. She was dissapointed when he confiscated the others territories. After they got the phylactery, she stole it and used it to ascend to demon hood. Sadly the player could not beat her when his allies turned on him and had to escape to come back another day and get revenge!
