I write a lot of short stories, sure, but I also write novels. My newest book series is called The Homeseeker and as of today, I’m running a crowdfunding campaign for the costs of publishing The Homeseeker Book 1: A Rejection of Reality. If you haven't been reading, it’s an epic fantasy adventure about someone suddenly transported to a medieval world and fighting his way back home. There is a magic system involving challenging Elementals in order to gain their respective Elemental Power, like the lightning in the cover image.
There’s tons more information on the project is in the BackerKit campaign itself, which I highly encourage you to check out! It's planned to be a complete series. You get a whole story with (what I believe is) a very satisfying ending.
