But if they hog the best of Rune Magic to themselves, then how do mages like Bazet know so much about them? I mean, they make her powerful enough to fight servant on equal ground. If the Wandering Sea has stuff better than that, just what are they capable of? And you said they can only entered once a year from the physical plane. That reminds me of an old Irish myth. It involved a group of warriors finding an island that appeared and disappeared once a year, and was inhabited by members of a magical race. Could this be the inspiration for the Wandering Sea?
