You already talked about how Kirie uses a sawed-off shotgun as his primary weapon. Though he does use enchanted fingers as ammo. I've always imaged that maybe certain runes could carved onto bullets of give them specific effects. Like how Uruz could used to enhance it's impact strength or make it change directions, mid velocity. Raidho could be used to maybe hypnotize a target or make them hallucinate. And Hagalaz could be used as an anti-demon or anti-phantasmal beast bullet. For this application, the uses are only limited by your imagination, and knowledge of runes. Of course, I've never seen this done in any Type-Moon media. It sure would interesting though.
