Worshiped, rich and privileged. Son of the General. Always with a smug smile on his face. Jungkook was everything Taehyung wasn’t. Jungkook was everything Taehyung hated. The bastard never had to fight for a single thing. Always the best without any effort, always the highest ranked pupil in every competition. It was easy for Jungkook. Even being one of the few who earned the right to be in that spaceship. He didn’t need to earn it, his place had always belonged to him.

But now it was different. They were alone, a little crew of seven young men on a mission. Namjoon was the best choice to lead them, of course. He had experience and respect. Jungkook refused that offer, such a noble thing to do. Ugh. There were other interests behind that act, but what could he do? Taehyung wouldn’t stand a chance against General Jeon’s only son, even though he knew he could take him.

“It seems like we’re gonna have a peaceful night,” the commander says, the only one standing while the rest of them sat at the big white table. “Both of you, fix that light problem we’ve been having in the east wing,” he points to Hoseok and Seokjin.

“Yes, sir,” they reply at the same time.

“Park and Min, you take care of the control room tonight.”

“On it,” Jimin says. Min Yoongi nods quietly.

Namjoon looks at Taehyung, and then at Jungkook.

No. NO WAY.

“Kim and Jeon, supply count. We might have to make a stop in the next few days to restock.”

“I can do it by myself,” Taeyung says.

The commander smiles.

“I know you can, but tonight you’ll do it together. It’s faster.”

Taehyung takes a deep breath, avoiding to look directly at the boy across the table.

“Who knows, maybe you’ll learn a thing or two about working in a team,” Jungkook whispers to him when they leave and head towards the supply room.

Taehyung ignores the provocation, like he’s been ignoring Jungkook in the last two weeks in every chance he got.

Once they’re inside, Taehyung is so focused on staying away he doesn’t even notice when Jungkook locks the door behind them.

“Are you gonna stand there all night?” he grunts, not trying to hide his displeasure.

“I thought you said you could do it by yourself.”

“Consider this me learning a thing or two about teamwork.”

Jungkook smirks. Short pink lips, a tiny mole under his mouth. Taehyung hates the sight of his stupid smile.

“Tae, are we ever gonna talk about what happened?”

“There’s nothing to talk about. And don’t call me that.”

“Call you what? Tae? Isn’t it how all your friends call you?”

“Well, we’re not friends, are we? So don’t call me that.”

“You seemed to enjoy it just a few days ago.”

“Shut up,” he says sharply. “Shut your mouth.”

“Am I lying? You liked it. I kept repeating your name while you couldn’t even keep your hands off of me and you fucking loved it.”

“I was drunk.”

“Yeah, you keep saying that, but you were sober enough to find my room in the middle of the night.”

Taehyung’s face reddens suddenly at the mention of it. He doesn’t say anything. Jungkook approaches him and he takes a step back.

“Stay away from me.”

“You knocked on my door. You knocked until you woke me up. You knocked, and knocked and knocked until I Iet you in.”

“Shut up,” he says. His voice is weak.

Taehyung remembers it. Walking to his room, the knocking, Jungkook’s big sleepy eyes looking at him all confused. He remembers all of it.

“You like me, hyung” Jungkook whispers, getting closer.

“I hate you.”

“Do you usually kiss the people you hate?” he asks, touching Taehyung’s face. “Do you suck their dicks too?”

“I hate you,” he repeats, but there’s no meaning. He’s hot and sweating and his stomach is doing that weird thing it does whenever Jungkook is around.

He feels the wet lips on the curve of his neck. Taehyung is not strong enough to pull him away. Not when he doesn’t want to.

“Do you fuck them like you fucked me, Tae?”
