Story time: Las Vegas ghetto

2 years ago was our first time going to SHOT show.
A week before our flight we found out that our reservation was canceled and Samo had to quickly search for another place for us to stay at.
He found a decent place for a good price, very close to the Las Vegas strip.
At that time nobody was wise enough to check google maps...

Cue next week, Uber drives us through the strip, then to a more remote part of town, bad neighbourhood and finally to what looked like straight ghetto.
Fucked up cars, trash everywhere, shady people on the corners and so on. And yes, the ghetto is quite close to the strip, but it's separated by 2 fences so you have to make a big detour
Well, luckily for us we decided to buy matching Adidas tracksuits that year so when we arrived to our place of stay, we probably looked like Russians.
I bet our hard slavic language, heavy drinking and acting crazy just helped with that image.

Needless to say, nobody bothered us for the whole time of our stay there
