As with most things in life, it depends of the context. Temple index is a legit "gun ready position" that has it use in certain situation where you don't want to muzzle flag yourself, your teammates or innocent civilians.
Not recommended to be used in a helicopter :)
The title is experimental to see if we trigger some folks.
