Thoughts on the second version of the handle

When I saw the comments on my post about the second version of the handle, I wanted to respond in the comments, but later decided to make a separate post. I thought someone might be interested in reading about my way of working and thoughts.

I started thinking about a second version of the handle because I want to make models that are as similar as possible to the original prop. Yes, perhaps some things from the film were made under limited time. But they have already become history in the form in which they appeared in the film, and this is exactly how we imagine them.

There are many replicas available, with certificates of authenticity or not. All props have slight deviations in production from their original appearance. For example, even Weta has some things that they do, these things allow for some variability, as I noticed.

And yes, I don’t want and don’t have the opportunity now to rush to make a second version of the hilt for the Sword of Nazgul. I want to put this on my to-do list when I can breathe more freely.

I wanted to first share my thoughts with you and see what you think about it. Because the whole point of me making models on Patreon is that I'm making them for you :)
