Inspiration

I'll start with the fact that inspiration in its romantic sense, it seems to me, is a myth :)

A myth in the stereotypical understanding of those people is that they are waiting for it as a reason to start doing something, and I am no exception (maybe I’m wrong and for someone there really is such inspiration, it just works differently for me now). I thought so before, I was waiting for the muse to overtake me and then I would definitely do something cool quickly and immediately. And the moment for me to start doing something could be delayed for a long time.

But relatively recently, I realized that in my case, inspiration is a state that comes to me in the process of work, when I see progress, how beautifully I do something, and this encourages me and motivates me to continue, getting even more pleasure.

At the moment, I view inspiration as something that allows me to look at the world around me with a new look, from a different perspective. That is, sometimes I embellish something a little, for example, walking down the street and seeing a wall with a weathered stain that has not been painted for a long time, I notice something artistic and beautiful in this stain. Or I pay close attention to the grass of an uncut lawn on a sunny day and try to think and feel how the sunlight passes through the blades of grass, how the dew glistens on them and the insects land on them, how the wind sways them. Sometimes my thoughts linger for a long time in such moments and it’s very pleasant.

And I think part of my inspiration for this is the paintings of artists that I like, for example, René Magritte, Claude Monet, Hieronymus Bosch. I began to deliberately focus and see unusual things around me, pay attention to how light falls on objects, how things interact with each other.

It's quite an interesting experience and it helped me bring color to my life and changed the way I look at some things.
