This is a really egregious example, but how many of us have done the same mistake in some milder form? I could myself guilty. I think it's being told over and over again that it's important to be "authentic" with women (and people in general) and to "express your feelings". Ya, when you're dating a woman and she hasn't earned your affections, don't do that. Keep her guessing. If she knows she has you, there is no chase anymore, and it's not interesting to her. No more "Will he? Won't he? I wonder what will happen!?"
