I believe women are more than entitled to have whatever standards for a partner they think they deserve. It's their prerogative. However, I've noticed men's' standards slipping, possibly as a response to this (ie what we're willing to put up with, looks-wise, personality etc), and I don't know why it needs to be this way. Shouldn't a rising tide lift all ships? It's not women's' fault we've lowered our standards. If we collectively raised our standards, in much the same way that women have, (ie refusing to put up with damaged, overweight bitches with bad attitudes), women, who wanted to be in a relationship, would have no choice but to raise their standards for themselves. Having a partner is a luxury nowadays, not a necessity. I wouldn't put up with owning a shitty, broken down sports car, so why would I put up with a shitty, broken-down woman??
