hi, it is a backwards thing. If you re being open and emotional that s not very masculine and attractive. I ve experienced the same, that otherwise they protect themselves from getting hurt and thrown away. I ve just decided that I dont want to feel like walking on eggshells in any stages of dating.

That’s why when we get into a relationship, both sides need to understand issues that the other person may face so they can empathize and help the person they are with. Relationships are a two way street after all. I have found that many women not only don’t empathize with men’s issues all that often, they are oblivious to what those issues are. That has been one of the more frustrating things when I have dated, women play their games thinking they are protecting themselves from getting hurt or whatever. But, I just want to get to know them and be with them. If they only honestly communicated their feelings to me just like I do with them, I would be more than happy to be in a relationship with them. I think if women did a better job of understanding the other side of the coin, many people would be in more fulfilling relationships than what is happening currently.
