At the very root of your brain you can only feel about four emotions. Hunger, thirst, sexuality and aggression. They are super old and an adaptation to reality of life. Aggression is so you can push obstacles away and impose your will on those who beg for correction in their behaviour. In that home you describe..., man you feel that aggression for a very damn good reason. You got something to say! Your body is preparing you to make the delivery strong so you can establish habitable order for you. On a scale of 1 (passive) to 10 (hyper aggressive) you can talk with a 6, which means assertive. If they don't listen take the 7. That will do the job. Doing that a couple of times will make you get used to make aggression work healthy in your favor. Can produce shortterm conflict but always always and longterm peace.

I would psychologically break from getting my ass beat. Participating in contact sports might make my state of mind worse.

I would strongly add martial art/combat sports which must be full-contact and train against resisting opponents. Rule of thumb if it's widely practiced in MMA it's legit. i.e Boxing, Wrestling, Muay-Thai, BJJ, MMA, K1- Kickboxing. None of that non-contact Kung-Fu/Karate or Aikido BS. Personally I practice Muay-Thai and BJJ myself 6 times a week.
