For some however marriage has always be a way for women to accumulate wealth and children(albeit it bitter starved lives for these children as unloved 'collateral'. This means of becoming wealth has never gone away, it is a old way that will out live feminism or any hostile ideology. The older woman who has prospered from succession of relationships, taking children and money in time, by the time the group forty and over, they are financially secure. This group don't hate men, they just are irrelevant to them. But they are far to clever for them ever to admit this, least of not to themselves.

She knows full well what she wants, no matter if it's fully conscious or not, she wants a man to appease her vulnerability, someone she can depend on, to provide and protect her, as well as having at least a decent genetic makeup. It's all based on her evolutionary instincts.
