All these stories are horrible, but some could have been avoided. If couples talked about boundaries and expectations beforehand. The woman who didn't let her kids go on the trip is selfish as hell. Her excuse was weak, because danger is everywhere. She was bitter that her husband found happiness before her. The teenager who crashed the car should get a job a pay for the damages. If a stepfather can't discipline his step children, they shouldn't be together. And the step daughter who refused to walk down the aisle with her step father is ungrateful. He should have adopted his own kids, but he saw her as his own. These men are too nice and I understand the red pill perspective about single mothers now. Personally, if I end up single again I would not date a single father. It's a new standard I have, since I would have to share resources with his kids. It's not a good deal for either men or women. I think a good solution if for single moms and dads to date each other. And childless people to date each other as well. Everyone needs to date in their lane.

He is an amazing half brother to our new baby boy. The situation is not without its complications though. My partner’s relationship with my son from my first marriage is not so good. So yes, I am paying literally and metaphorically for making the mistake of having a child with the wrong woman.
