That "job" Lindsay had at the bar was actually a real thing: what we would now call an "influencer," someone who consumes a particular brand and persuades others to try it too. "Carl Weathers, hardcore scammer" is one of the funniest creations of the series: every sentence out of his mouth is how to get something discounted or free. Never does he give an actual acting lesson.
