2021-05-01 02:09:05 +0000 UTCIt was hard when Michael left, especially for those of us who had been rewatching the office for years as the seasons were on tv. So a lot of fans had an automatic bias against season 8, and then Robert California rubbed some people up the wrong way and so did Nellie. Personally I love them both, and think season 8 is awesome... but I didn’t feel that way when it was on originally on TV. People just need to give it a chance.

I agree with the poster above, most people view it through a “no Michael” lens. And don’t get me wrong I miss him in the show, but I’ve grown to appreciate the show after him as well.
